Level 1: 220 Hour Yoga Teacher Training
Samapatti Yoga Teacher Training 2024-25 Program
Our unique 220-hour program covers yoga history & philosophy, asana, hatha yoga anatomy, pranayama, pratyahara, yoga nidra, yoga sutras, yoga diet/nutrition and meditation practices. We believe that every person should be able to do some form or style of hatha yoga, from conception to natural death. We will teach you how to teach yoga to everyone from your 2-year-old to your 87-year-old grandfather. So, during our Yoga Teacher Training you will learn teachings from several different hatha and raja yoga schools including the Viniyoga tradition, the Himalayan tradition, the Iyengar method, the Bihar School, and others to be able to adapt practices to meet the needs of your future students.
***Our Teacher Training program is registered with both the National Association of Certified Yoga Teachers (NACYT) AND the Yoga Alliance (YA) ***
The purpose of the intensive days is to deepen the practices, teach specific philosophical information and practice, practice, practice.

September 13-15, October 4-6, November 1-3, December 6-8, January 3-5, February 7-9, March 7-9, April 4-6, May 2-4, June 7 (Graduation)
Thursdays twice a month Sept-May, 6:30-8:30pm (TBA)
I. Basic Information
A. Weekend intensive training include:
- yoga history & philosophy
- yoga asanas
- hatha yoga anatomy
- pranayama practices
- pratyahara practices
- yoga nidra practices
- yoga sutras study
- yoga diet/nutrition
- meditation practices
B. Participation in The Yoga Room Classes or other Hatha yoga classes
- Hours of clinical observation/participation- explained at first intensive training
C. Yoga asana and meditation practice journal & diet/nutrition journal
D. Supervised student teaching
E. At-Home study course work includes:
- Assigned readings, reports and assignments.
- Written test on text material.
- Performance test on asanas, pranayama, meditation, etc.

*Several other texts will be assigned based upon course curriculum
III. 2024-25 Training Intensive Days Tentative Schedule:
1st weekend of each month: Friday 7-8:30pm, Saturdays 8:30am-3pm, & Sundays 8:30am-11:30am
Thursday evenings 6:30-8:30pm IN Studio (October-April)
IV. Course Fees & Payment plans: (Need based-scholarships and Work-study available)
Option 1: $2990 One (1) payment due with application. *EARLY REGISTRATION DISCOUNT $2750 when paid in full by 6/30/2024
Option 2: $1520- Two (2) payments: one due August 2024 and November 2024 intensive.
Option 3: $1015- Three (3) payments: one due August 2024, November 2024 and January 2025 intensives.
OR monthly payments can be worked out for 8 months @$400 each month

Payments made for the Teacher Training program are non-refundable and non-transferable to other classes, workshops, etc.
Audit Fee: $1495 One payment due with application. (Students who audit the course participate in all of the training intensive days but do not have to student teach and they do not receive a Teacher Training Certificate.)
*For IB above: Students who take yoga classes at The Yoga Room receive an unlimited yoga class membership for $19.95 per month for one year. (Audit students pay full rates.)
Course fees DO NOT include Textbooks (trainees receive a 25% discount when purchase from The Yoga Room).
A 220-hour Samapatti Yoga Teacher Training Certificate is granted upon successful completion of all of the above. Students have up to two years from start of program to complete it.
